Presentation

Extreme resistance to breakage and reliability, combined with a 2-year "no questions asked" warranty make the new Fibra 80 Hardcore the mast most used by wavers around the world. Derived from the legendary Python 80, it maintains the same weight but increases its resistance to compression and torsion thanks to the use of a new epoxy matrix specifically optimized for this product. In addition to this, we have reinforced the boom area with an exclusive biaxial carbon fiber - CBX carbon. The new ferrule has an increased thickness and is built using the very precious T900 fiber which increases its resistance without adding unnecessary weight. Compatible with 95% of the sails on the market, it has been successfully tested in the most famous and radical spots in the world, such as Jaws (Hawaii), Morocco, South Africa, Australia and Cabo Verde.

Developed and produced in Italy, it benefits from the same production process as its more "noble" brother, the FIBRA 100. The autoclave cure cycle is a two-step process. First, vacuum and pressure are applied while the temperature is ramped up to an intermediate level and held there for a short period of time. The heat reduces the resin viscosity, allowing it to flow and making it easier for trapped air and volatiles to escape.

The FIBRA 80 RDM is suitable for those who want a windsurf mast with great performance, strength and comfort to be used with their wave sails but also freeride from strong winds. The particular arrangement of the carbon fibers, the exclusive geometry and its curve called CONSTANT CURVE make the FIBRA 80 RDM naturally adaptable to most sails on the market.
